House fever

Because it's not really cabin fever unless I'm living in a cabin, is it? Or on a ship. I don't remember how that phrase came about.

Break time is over as far as I'm concerned. I did manage to revive my desktop, though I'm not sure how, but I'm poor as all get-out and jobs in my desired field are incredibly sparse. There are two options around here:

1. Work in marketing.
2. Commute four hours a day. Both ways.

Neither seems appealing. Ironic that my skills in information technology are probably my most profitable trait, since I've about had it with tech support and fixing things that enjoy breaking for no reason. I have to admit, however, that worrying about where I'll be working is strangely satisfying -- certainly more satisfying than worrying about papers and grades. It feels more ... immediate. Concrete.

Like "I need to pay my bills or the insurance company will laugh when I get sick" concrete.

Well, while I'm waiting for potential employer responses and twiddling my thumbs, I should probably do something with my website. It's not like I have much else to do.
